I was born in Italy and my identity is inextricably tied to its culture, its chaos and its colours — but my blood traces a migratory map that crosses Moldova and lands in central Italy. An origin I never inherited. No language, no traditions, just a blurred sense that somewhere in my genetic history, there was always movement. A legacy that shaped me into a perpetual wanderer. Not an immigrant who belongs to two places, but someone who doesn't fully belong to either.

What drives me to travel is an endless need to understand. To meet people and realities different from my own, and to make sense of the diversity of this world. In a reality that feels like it came straight out of an Orwell novel, these encounters have the power to keep hope alive for a better future.

Fighting for that better future is the other part of who I am. I am a young climate activist working for a safer world and the protection of our ecosystems. I fight to bring the voices of young people and the most vulnerable communities to the negotiating tables of high-level conferences — because through listening and observation I have come to understand that the people on the frontlines of the climate crisis are also the ones who know best how to respond.

The camera is how I connect it all. A photograph is an act of attention. Proof that the world showed itself, and I didn't look away.
